Outdoor Jazz Concert by Drummer Stix Bones. Free outdoor performance by Brooklyn Native Stix Bones hosted by The T -Cup Cafe in Bedford Stuyvesant. The T -Cup gives back to the community by sponsering a jazz concert fit for the whole family to enjoy. The 2 hour concert will be from 2pm to 4pm

at our Pub Quiz, one of the longest-running trivia nights in the city!

Teams of 4 (or fewer) compete for cash prizes (1st and 2nd place) and stretch their brains with questions ranging from sports to politics to pop culture and quirky categories like, “Last Exit Theater” (hosts perform scenes from movies)“Canadian or Not Canadian?” (decide if celebs like Michael Cera hail from our friend to the north), & Bodega Price is Right (does toilet paper really cost that much?)

Pub Quiz is held every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month @ 9 p.m. sharp

Free Concert: The United States Air Force Blue Aces

Enjoy a concert given by the United States Air Force Blue Aces at Brooklyn’s War Memorial in Cadman Plaza Park on Monday, 20 August, at 5:00 PM. This exciting performance is free and open to the public, and is a part of several Air Force Week activities planned throughout the boroughs of NY City that will showcase America’s Airmen. The performance, taking place at Brooklyn’s memorial to thousands of heroic veterans, is designed for families and people of all ages, and will pay special tribute to Brooklyn’s hometown heroes of the past and present.

The Blue Aces perform an entertaining mix of classic rock, top 40’s, Motown, and R&B, and features the diverse talents of 7 professional airmen-musicians whose commitment to excellence has earned worldwide acclaim and military distinction. Each year the group provides the gift of music for thousands in communities both large and small–and plays for a wide diversity of audiences including schoolchildren, disabled veterans, high-ranking military and civilian officials, the general public, and our joint-combined forces deployed around the world.
